Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa The Maples Restaurant at the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa in Whitefield will be the site of the next New Hampshire Growers' Dinner in the 2006 series of special dinner events that highlight the use of local farm and food products at local restaurants. The Resort's internationally acclaimed Executive Chef, Kevin Cottle, will be directing the evening's culinary activities. A native of Cape Cod and a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, Chef Cottle honed his skills at fine restaurants in Philadelphia, Boston and Vail. He joined the Mountain View Grand in 2005 and firmly believes in using local products to create a unique New Hampshire fine dining experience. The NH Growers Dinner at the Mountain View Grand is set for July 29 and Chef Cottle plans to use elk, cheeses and other dairy products, trout, seasonal produce and more, to create an exciting five course meal. Growers' Dinner events are coordinated by the New Hampshire Farm to Restaurant Connection, a program linking New Hampshire farms with New Hampshire restaurants. The Growers' Dinner at the Mountain View Grand is the second in the 2006 series of five New Hampshire dinners and one New Hampshire breakfast being held from July to November. Space is limited at this special event and reservations are required. Call the Maples Restaurant at the Mountain View Grand at 603-837-0050 for dinner details and reservations.
