New Hampshire Farm to Restaurant Connection (NHFRC)*

Click here to find an NHFRC directory of participating farmers, growers, producers, restaurants and suppliers.

The New Hampshire Farm to Restaurant Connection (NHFRC) links New Hampshire farms and food businesses with New Hampshire consumers and restaurants. Today’s consumers are more aware and concerned about the sources of their food supply making locally produced foods very significant. Restaurant promotion of local foods would enhance both the restaurant business and the farm/food business, while helping to maintain New Hampshire’s economic and rural landscapes.

The NH Virtual Farmers' Market! Go here to shop online at the NH Virtual Farmers Market for many New Hampshire farm and food products. Farmers can sign up now for a free account and listing of products for sale. This new website provides the opportunity to shop for many products from New Hampshire farm and food businesses all in one place. You can order products online and arrange delivery right to your door. The Virtual Farmers’ Market is coordinated by the NH Farm to Restaurant Connection. Collaborative partners include the NH Dept. of Agriculture, Markets & Food, UNH Office of Sustainability Programs, Farm Credit Service and NH Made.

The NH Farm to Restaurant Connection has been selected as a "Best of NH" recipient! We won in the "Perfect Partnership" category.

The benefits of eating and buying local**:

  • locally grown and produced food is fresher (if asked, consumers know and agree with this)
  • you know where your food comes from and who grows it
  • by buying locally you help support local farmers and keep working farms profitable
  • you help preserve working farms and our rural landscape (productive farms preserve our high quality of life in NH)
  • your money stays in and supports your local community
